When we rolled out Batch Shipping a few months ago, the response from our users was overwhelmingly positive. Since then, we’ve been working secretly to make shipping in batch even easier. We’re happy to announce that we’ve released Batch Shipping 2.0, which covers all of your domestic shipping needs for USPS, Fedex and UPS labels.
Here are a few things we’ve adding to batch shipping in this release:
USPS Insurance
Add insurance to any USPS shipment with just one click. Just specify the amount you want covered, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Require Signature for Delivery
Rest easy knowing that your packages are being delivered to the right people. We’ve added Signature Required options for USPS, Fedex and UPS shipments.
Dry Ice
Shipping food or other perishables? Ordoro’s Fedex integration comes with an option to include dry ice in every shipment. Whether you’re shipping one package or hundreds, Ordoro can add dry ice to all of your shipments (and update the total shipping weight accordingly) with just one click.
Specify Residential Address
Some shippers offer cheaper rates for delivering to residences (vs businesses). Batch Shipping 2.0 will alert you of those cheaper rates for shipments specified to go to residential addresses.
Instant Rate Check
Speaking of rates, now you can see what the cheapest shipping method is going to be in real time. As you create a shipping label, the rates table updates on-the-fly based on whatever options and parameters you’ve selected. That means no more guessing. Ordoro tells you exactly how much each label is going to cost, before you pay for it.
