Starting September 15th, 2024, UPS will implement a “Surge Fee” of $0.50 per lb on all shipments originating from China into the US. 😯

This move is in response to the surge in small parcel shipments from China to the US, driven by Temu and SHEIN.

These marketplaces generate significant volume for the carriers, but these packages are not profitable to deliver.

🤔 Who wants to bet on what date FedEx will follow course and introduce the same “Surge Fee”?
