Wondering what’s new in Ordoro? This month’s updates bring smarter manufacturing workflows, deeper BOM insights, smoother shipping automation, and thoughtful usability improvements. These changes are designed to make your day-to-day operations simpler, faster, and more powerful.
FEATURE UPDATES
BigCommerce Shipment Status Can Now Auto-Sync
If you fulfill orders in BigCommerce, Ordoro can now sync the shipment status automatically—no more manual updates needed. Just toggle a new setting, and let the automation handle it.
See how to enable it in your account.
Better BOM Planning Tools
- See what’s committed and what’s on the way. The BOM tab now shows how many components are already tied to open Manufacturing Orders and how many are incoming via Purchase Orders.
- Know how much you can build. Ordoro now calculates the number of finished goods you can create based on your current component inventory—helping you stay ahead of shortages and delays.
Start with building your BOM and learn how to create MOs in just a few steps.
Smarter, Faster Manufacturing Orders
- Total Components, Clearly Counted
Create a Manufacturing Order, you’ll now see the component quantities needed per unit. Plus, Ordoro shows the total required for the full order—no manual math needed. The MO detail page, making Requested and Finished quantities is easier to spot at a glance. - Clone MOs in a Click
Repeating a build? You can now clone existing MOs just like regular orders. All details—from BOMs to notes—carry over, making repeat production fast and foolproof. - Auto-Finish MOs
When all lines are marked as finished, you can now choose to update the MO status to “Finished” at the same time. This saves you an extra step at the end of the process.
Here is a refresher on MO workflows.
