- 8 in 10 believe USPS should continue to serve all areas of the country
- 4 in 10 opposed eliminating Saturday delivery
- More than 50% prefer receiving all or most of their mail physically rather than digitally
- 77% wrongly believed the USPS is funded with tax dollars (USPS receives $0 tax dollars)
- 48% support closing underutilized post offices
- 50% support making more servies available at the post office such as renewing drivers license
- 88% support the Postal Service’s efforts to expand into the digital realm
…the results demonstrate the importance of the Postal Service in lives of Americans.
