More control over what moves, what waits, and what you see along the way.
This week’s updates make it easier to manage orders and products in Ordoro, with a new On Hold status, support for digital products, and more visibility into presets and multibox shipments. Plus, customizable Settings shortcuts and a few smaller improvements help keep everyday workflows moving smoothly.
FEATURE UPDATES
Put orders On Hold
You can now move orders to a new On Hold status when they aren’t ready for fulfillment yet. This gives you a dedicated place for pre-orders, orders waiting on inventory, customized orders, or anything else that needs to stay out of your Awaiting Fulfillment queue until it’s ready.
Move individual orders On Hold or update multiple orders at once, then remove the hold when they’re ready to move forward. On Hold orders can also receive automatic order revisions while keeping their On Hold status, so updates from your sales channel don’t push them back into the fulfillment queue.

Identify and Manage Digital Products
You can now mark products as Digital in Ordoro, making it easier to distinguish items like downloads, insurance, and other non-physical products from products that need to be picked and packed. Digital products are identified with a D badge on Product and Order pages, and you can also set or update a product’s digital status through Data Import.
When creating a Pick List or Packing List, choose whether to include digital products. Hide them when there’s nothing physical to pick or pack, while keeping the physical products on your list. Ordoro remembers your preference for the next time you create a list.

See Which Presets Have Been Applied to an Order
You can now view a history of the shipping presets that have been applied to an order. Expand an order and select Preset(s) Applied to see which presets were used, including presets applied manually, through automation rules, or with Bulk Update.
The history stays with the order as additional presets are applied, making it easier to see how an order’s shipping settings have been configured over time.

Pin Your Favorite Settings for Quicker Access
You can now customize the Settings dropdown by pinning the sections you use most. Pin Rules, Suppliers, Warehouses, Users, or other Settings sections to create shortcuts that take you directly where you need to go.
Your pinned shortcuts are saved at the user level, so everyone on your team can set up their own Settings menu based on how they work. Account Settings and Logout remain available by default.

View Package Details for Mailbox Shipments
You can now see the individual package weights and dimensions for FedEx and UPS multibox shipments directly from the order. When an order contains multiple packages, select Multiple under Weight or Dimensions to view the details for each package.
The new view shows each package separately with its saved weight and dimensions, making it easier to reference shipment details without having to look elsewhere for the original package information.

ADDITIONAL UPDATES
More complete Product Info exports: Shipping-only and Dropship-only accounts can now export Location in Warehouse with Product Info, making it easier to export, update, and re-import product location data. Products without an assigned location are included with the field left blank.
PRODUCT PATCHES
- Customer Notes display correctly on Dropship Requests: When Customer Notes are set to be shared with a supplier, they now appear consistently in the Dropship Request preview, email body, and attached PDF. Customer Notes also remain separate from manually entered dropship instructions.
- More reliable CSV imports: The new Data Import now handles files containing non-ASCII characters without unexpected decoding errors, helping product imports complete successfully while preserving special characters.
- More complete Purchase Order previews: SKU notes now appear when using Preview/Print PO, matching the information shown when a Purchase Order is emailed to a supplier.
A little more control, a little more visibility, and fewer workarounds along the way. We hope these updates make it easier to keep orders organized and your day-to-day moving smoothly.
