After retiring from the Marine Corps in 2007, Greg decided to launch his own business together with his wife Anne. “We no longer wanted to work for other people.” After researching all kinds of opportunities, they realized that they wanted to buy an existing ecommerce business rather than start from scratch. They bought the Wigs-US.com online store from its previous owner, and started running the business from their home in San Antonio, Texas.
“We didn’t know anything about the wig business, but we had a lot of experience in organizing and bringing efficiencies to any operation.” They re-designed the website, added more products, and streamlined order processing, inventory management and shipping operations.
